ClassCue

Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

The short version

ClassCue has no accounts. Your routine, exams, teachers and settings are stored on your phone and are not sent to us. We do not run a server that holds your data.

What is stored on your phone

Your classes, exams, make-ups, attendance notes, faculty list (including photos you add), and your settings. You can delete it any time inside the app or by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it.

Photos and scanning

When you scan a routine, the picture is read on your phone using Google ML Kit’s on-device text recognition (and, if you use the camera scanner, Google’s on-device document scanner). The picture is not uploaded by ClassCue.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your phone with the system alarm service. They contain only the class details you entered.

Ads

The app may show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use the advertising ID and device and diagnostic information to serve and measure ads, under Google’s own policies. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice from the app’s settings.

Purchases

Optional purchases are made through Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment; ClassCue only learns whether a purchase is active.

Faculty lists

Faculty lists contain names, designations, departments and the contact details that universities publish on their own public pages. They are provided to help students find their teachers. If you appear in a list and want your entry corrected or removed, contact us and we will update it.

Children

ClassCue is made for university students and is not directed at children under 13.
